These are the terms every League Logic Pro account agrees to. They are short on purpose and written to be read, and they say the same thing as the three lines your student checks when they set up an account. The formal version is at the end.
The short version
- One student per purchase. A purchase is for one student, and access is not shared.
- Verify before you compete. The tools use AI, and AI makes mistakes. Every quote, author, date, statistic and source gets checked by the student before it is used in a round or in schoolwork.
- A support tool, not a substitute. The tools strengthen your student's own preparation. They do not replace it, and we are not responsible for results in a round.
- Your student's work is theirs to use for their own competition and study.
- Your league's rules are the student's to know and follow. When in doubt, ask your league.
What your student agrees to at setup
When an account is created, the student checks a box that reads:
By using League Logic Pro, I understand and agree that:
- League Logic Pro uses AI to assist with debate preparation, and AI output may contain errors. I will verify all quotes, authors, dates, statistics, and sources before using them in competition or academic work.
- League Logic Pro is a support tool and is not responsible for inaccuracies or outcomes resulting from AI-generated or user-submitted content.
- My purchase is for one student only, and I will not share access with others. I understand that my account contains private strategy work, research notes, and ballot analysis, and I will steward it with integrity.
Those three promises are the heart of these terms. Everything below explains them.
Accounts
An account is for one student aged 13 to 25, set up with that student's own name and email address. The account belongs to the student. A parent may buy, and may ask us anything about the account. Keep the password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used the account. One account cannot be used by two students, and a student should not hold two accounts for the same product.
Purchases, access and refunds
Every purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Access runs for the season, through Nationals, which means through June 30 following the season the purchase was made for. What a purchase includes, such as the number of scored practice rounds or coaching chats, is what the product page shows at the time you buy. Prices may change for future purchases, and a purchase already made is not affected. If something is wrong with a purchase, write to Support@LeagueLogicPro.com and a person will answer. A refund is for a purchase that does not work: a product that never unlocks, or a feature you paid for that fails and we cannot fix. We do not refund a purchase because a case, a brief or a score was not what you hoped for. The tools build a starting point for your student to verify and make their own, and that work is the product.
What the tools are, and are not
The case builder, the brief builder, the coach and the practice-speech scoring use AI. They are built to strengthen a student's research and thinking, and the student still reads, verifies, decides and speaks. AI can misquote, misattribute and invent, which is why the tools flag a source they cannot verify and why the student checks every quote, author, date, statistic and source before using it. We do not promise any result in a round, any score, or any placement, and we are not responsible for outcomes that come from AI-generated content or from content a student uploads. We improve the tools during the season, so a feature may change or be added. A change never shortens the access you paid for.
Your student's work
What your student builds or uploads in the app is theirs to use for their own competition and study, for as long as they like, including after the season. It may not be resold, shared with other accounts, or published as a product. The tools, the templates, the practice questions and the service itself remain ours. The news articles in the Extemp file belong to their publishers and are provided for the student's own reading and preparation.
Fair use of the service
Please do not share access, copy the service, access it with automated tools, try to reach another account's information, or use it in a way that breaks the rules of your league or the law. We may close an account that does, with notice where we can, and a purchase used that way is not refunded.
Keeping the service running
We work to keep the app available every day of the season, and outages still happen. We may take the service down briefly for maintenance. If we ever had to close a product before the season ends, we would tell you and make it right.
Closing an account
You can ask us to delete an account at any time, and our privacy page describes what happens then. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for running the service as described on this site. We are not responsible for results in a round, for errors in AI output the student did not check, or for how a student uses what they build. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us for the season in question.
Privacy
What we collect, where it goes and how to have it removed is on the page How we handle your student's information. It is part of these terms.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, we change the date at the top, and customers hear about any change that affects their purchase by email first. Questions go to Support@LeagueLogicPro.com.
The formal version
This is the same agreement, written as terms of use. Where the plain version above and this version differ, this version applies.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and League Logic Pro, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("we", "us"), covering the website at LeagueLogicPro.com and the application at app.leaguelogicpro.com (together, "the Service"). By creating an account, making a purchase or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If a parent or guardian purchases for a student, the parent accepts these Terms on the student's behalf, and the student accepts them at account setup.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Accounts are for students aged 13 to 25. Each account is for one individual, who must provide accurate information and keep the password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Purchases
Purchases are one-time payments processed by Stripe. Each purchase grants one student access to the purchased product through June 30 following the season for which it was purchased, with the allowances stated on the product page at the time of purchase. Prices may change prospectively. A refund is provided where the Service fails to deliver the purchased product or a paid feature and we cannot remedy the failure. Dissatisfaction with the content the Service produces is not a basis for a refund. Refund requests are made to Support@LeagueLogicPro.com.
4. Nature of the Service
The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist with debate and speech preparation. AI output may contain errors, including inaccurate quotations, attributions, dates and statistics. You agree to verify all quotes, authors, dates, statistics and sources before using them in competition or academic work. The Service is a support tool. We make no promise of any competitive result, and we are not responsible for inaccuracies or outcomes resulting from AI-generated or user-submitted content. We may modify features during the season without reducing the access period purchased.
5. Your content and our content
You retain the right to use the content you create or upload in the Service for your own competition and study. You grant us the license needed to store, process and display that content in order to provide the Service, including sending it to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy. The Service, its software, templates, practice questions and branding are owned by us or our licensors. Third-party articles made available in the Service remain the property of their publishers and are provided for personal reading and preparation.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to share account access, use the Service for more than one student per purchase, copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, access it by automated means, attempt to access another account's information, resell or republish content obtained from it, or use it in violation of your league's rules or applicable law.
7. Availability and termination
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with notice where practicable, and no refund is owed for a purchase used in violation of these Terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy. If we discontinue a product before the end of the access period you purchased, we will notify you and provide an appropriate remedy.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the season in which the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy, at leaguelogicpro.com/privacy, forms part of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes affecting an existing purchase are communicated to customers by email before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. We will try to resolve any dispute with you directly and in good faith before either of us takes any other step.
